From my collection, here is my Benelli 250 which I have owned since February 2016 and reluctantly offer to a new owner. I have always been an Italian bike fan and this was on my list of bikes to have. But due to time and space, I am concentrating on my bigger bikes now so this needs to go to someone who will cherish her. Registered 31st March 1981, she is a UK bike from new. Great styling and, for me, I think better looking than the later ones with different side panels and tail along with the bikini fairing which I think looks a bit ungainly. Jewel of an engine. The little 4 cylinder engine is so smooth. Not fast by the RD250 standards of the day. It was much more expensive than the competition back then so is quite rare and sought after these days. I would say it is in very good condition. The plastics are all good. Apart from regularly starting and moving around my garage, I think I have only ridden it once. When I bought it, I parked it up in my collection. I took it to Selwyn (the Benelli specialist) in 2018 for him to give it the once over (service, carbs, MOT etc.) and brought it back home where it was stored once again. It still starts and runs well. The MOT did run out last year but no problem renewing this if required. Currently SORN. Next year, at 40, she will be Tax and MOT exempt if wanted. I would welcome and recommend any inspection near Manningtree, Essex and I am happy to answer any questions. Payment would be by Bank Transfer or cash on collection please.
