Having done significant work on my Bantam I now realise that having moved to the Isle of Man I will be unable to finish it. It’s time therefore to let it go to someone who has time to finish it. The bike is currently in Nottingham. Significant work has been done, with no expense spared. To date the following has been done:Fully repainted professionally by a specialist who does work for many of countries top restorers.New fork stanchions, fork bushes, fork seal carriers and fork gaiters. New cables throughoutRechromed handlebars, levers, kick start, gear change and exhaust pipe. Bike has single seat but also comes with an excellent, repainted dual seat base. All tin ware is present and repainted (chain guard, headlight rim and tool box lid present but not shownNew big end and all engine bearings replaced.New tyres & tubesWheels have been rebuilt though unfortunately some rust has come through on rear wheel (see picture). The bike is currently unregistered but comes with previous tax discs so the original number should be retained LAW 497. Bike is complete and original missing only a speedometer and a silencer (an original silencer is present though needs rechroming or replacing to match the standard of the rest of the bike). Bike has correct light switch and bulb horn.
