Hello and thanks for looking at my Honda CBR900RR RRN 1992 model. The bike shows 59 900 miles. I have owned the bike for around 2 yrs and during this time it has had lots of work and money spent on it. here is a list of parts / work in no particular order: Chain and SprocketsPowder coated wheels, New wheel bearingsReplacement front and rear axlesNew brake discs all round - after marketRebuilt calipers all round with new pads, seals, pistons where necessary.Rebuilt front and rear master cylindersNew brake hoses - braidedForks serviced, rebushed and resealed with lowers repaintedNew bottom yokeNew genuine headstock bearingsNew radiatorReplacement TachoReplacement ECUNew fuel pumpRecent clutch plates and new springsReplacement rectifier and repaired wiring loom with new rectifier plugNew locksetNew throttle, clutch, speedo cablesReplacement carburettors. I bought the bike online, unseen for good money and the owner described it as " restored, needing a few missing fasteners to finish"!!! I will never do that again. As you can see from above the bike has received considerable investment. Generally, the bike is in good condition considering it is approaching 29 yrs old and looks great. The motor runs well. The bike is not concours. The plastics are generally really good condition. The LH seat unit plastic has had a previous repair (crack and damaged fastener point) , see picture. The paint on the tank has had a refresh at some point in its life but the lower seam could do with rubbing back and re-doing. The frame has a minor mark where I suspect the handlebars have made contact at some point. There are minor marks, scratches etc on the frame, engine covers inline with the bikes age which you should see in the pictures. The history I have is mixed. I have the receipts for most of the above plus a wad of invoices, mots etc although the history is not complete. The rear tyre is half worn, the front tyre is a brand I have never heard of. Although the front discs are brand new they are quite grabby. They may just need bedding in. The old discs and a collection of old parts will be supplied with the bike. I had one of these in 1993 and always wanted another. Sadly, I don't have the time to use it and if I keep it, it will just gather dust. I have described it as honestly as I can. I would prefer the bike to be viewed before purchase at its location , St Helens, Merseyside. Collection only, sorry, no agents, overseas buyers.
