Description

1980 Honda twin shock trials bike. Up for auction is this 1980 CG125 based twinshock trials bike, based on a Tl125. This has been extensively modified to become a good level trials bike. Alot of work has been put into the bike to make it competitive. The bike has upgraded forks, shocks wheels, shortened swingarm etc. Runs Japanese 21 front wheel, 18 rear, fitted with good 4.00 and 2.75 pirelli professional tyres. The forks I suspect are TY175 or TL125. The frame has been modified and powder coated. The previous owner trailed the bike at club level and gained some very good results with it. The bike has amazing amounts of ground clearance, far more then my old TY175.The bike has a very nice positive stance and it's a pleasure to trial. The bike has been built to a very high standard, not your average chucked together conversion. The only negative I will point out is the fork Stantons are showing some rust to the chrome, not really in the travel and have had no problems with seals etc.. and there is no rear brake fitted. This will just need a brake rod making up to the new swingarm length And a lever fitted. The bike chassis is all tight and runs spot on.If you would like to see a walk around video showing the bike in detail and running. Search on YouTube "Tms Honda trials bike" Comes with full V5c so you can cross roads between Trials Sections (Reg OWK 226W) Bike is located in ipswich suffolk.I can supply a good courier contact if your not local. Cash/bank transfer on pickup (no paypal) Any questions, please don't hesitate To contact me.Starting bidding at 99p with no reserve. Happy bidding.
