2006 Yamaha XV250 Virago UK Registered US Import Trade Bike Manufacturer: Yamaha Model: XV250 Virago Year: 2006 Engine No: G606E-002612 Frame No: JYAVG04E66A002020 Colour: Black Mileage: 28237 Capacity: 249cc Starting at: £999.99 Stock No: 85799 This Yamaha XV250 Virago has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it. The single most important purchase for a restoration project is the bike to restore, whether it's going to be a commercial venture or just a hobby interest it all starts here!. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES........ As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – The mirrors being the most obvious. There are some tears in the rider seat cover, the chrome is scratched on the rear indicators, there are light scratches and a shallow dent in the tank, there is a crack in the front mudguard and the RH front indicator lens is cracked. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS......... The wheels are straight, good discs, calipers and working brakes. The forks and yokes look straight . The tail light assy is good as are the headlight and bowl. Instruments and switches look ok. fuel tank is squeaky clean inside. The chain guard is tidy. The exhaust is solid. The engine is cosmetically clean. We have had it running on it's own fuel and the bike has an Valid mot until December 2020, this being said, the bike will need a new battery fitting and we would suggest the bike undergoes full checks before being used on the road.
