Complete 1989 Yamaha XT 350 trail motorcycle in white with red trim. In good condition with under 12000 miles on the clock. Last on the road in 2003 when back injury and lack of electric start meant I parked it in my Mum's garage where it has been ever since - largely forgotten about. As far as I know it is bog standard apart from the front brake lines which were replaced, good tyres as you can see. I'm describing it as a light project as it is not running or MOT'd. I'm no mechanic but I can see no reason that with a little TLC, new battery, plug etc it could not get back on the road quite easily. Engine kicks over with compression as I remember it. Note dent to tank which I've photographed. Comes with spare cut down seat in black. Looking at the recent completed sales on this bike and the excellent condition of this example I think the starting price is fair and represents a potential bargain here. Currently carries SORN status with DVLA, having moved house since 2003 the V5 is on my old address and absent but I have the blank New Keeper slip. I spoke to DVLA to get a replacement this morning only to be advised that as they did not process my change of address I can sell passing on the New Keeper slip which will allow the new owner to obtain a new V5 on taxation free of charge via DVLA in the normal way. I recall sending the old V5 document off to get updated but it seems it went astray and I forgot about it as the bike was off the road. I can obviously provide proof of ID and registration to my old address as needed. Max torque was available at high 7,000 rpm when you had 29.5 NM or 21.7 lb-ft of torque at your disposal.This engine is paired with a six-speed transmission, and at the front, you have a single disc brake while at the back is a drum brake. Total weight of 120 kg makes it quite maneuverable and easy to ride. With a tank of 12 liters or 3.1 US gallons, you will forget about often going to the gas station.While 30 hp that you get here might not look all that impressive, have in mind that this is mostly enduro bike that is designed to be ridden on rough surfaces and terrains. The thing that impresses is that it can easily get to highway speeds and max speed is at about 145 km/h or 90.1 mph which is more than you will need in most cases.
