Description
I am listing my BSA 350 WD. First registered in 1967, part of 150 BSA ordered for the RAF. It spent its time as a convoy motorcycle in the cold war nuclear era. In 1974 it was disposed to the army for sale. At this point it had a army engine fitted . The frame is one of 15 left surviving from the original 150. This bike is not for the purist out there. Its converted to 12volt and has electronic ignition. I ride it every week throughout the year and it runs well and sometimes is a pig to start. Nothing that a heated spark plug can not cure.It has the unique enclosed chain and could be easily transported back in time to its original role with panniers and a screen. Its British so it leaks a few drops of oil . The wheels are sound but the chrome is beginning to flake in places. Mileage not verified If you fancy a bit of nostalgia and great sounding machine with loads of torque to put a smile on anyone's face round the country roads.Note that the registration is 1974 on a N Plate. Viewings and collection available in DT2 adhering to social distancing rules.
