I have my Raleigh Runabout RM6 Super Deluxe for sale. This is a totally original unrestored example, The paintwork and chrome is 56 years of age so is obviously showing signs of its age but is presentable. Not many of these come up in this sort of unmolested condition. I have fitted a brand new fuel tap and a brand new Gurtner Carburetter. She now runs amazingly well, sounds well and pulls as it should. I have also fitted 2 brand new tyres and inner tubes as the original dunlop tyres were splitting. She is registered with the DVLA and I have the V5 in my name. She is classed as a Historic Vehicle and is tax & MOT excempt. She is currently on a SORN. She will require the auxillary wiring sorting out as the lights and horn do not work. There is a 6v supply coming from the motor so this will be a straightforward task. Lights, horn, switches and buttons are in place. It could do with the cables re routing correctly and the decompressor cable is missing and will need a replacement. To summarise, this is a very straight survivor. It is a genuine Super Deluxe as identified by the (R6S) frame number. Viewing is welcome by appointment in Standish near Wigan and collection only form this location. Photo's always look better than the actual article so if you are unsure, please come and have a look at it. I have tried to photograph the specific "worn" areas and the photos will form part of the description. If you are an RM6 or vintage moped collector/enthusiast then this is certainly worth looking at.
