Normal 0 false false false EN-GB X-NONE X-NONE Bought this bike new back in 1987 and kept it for 9 years. It passed through a few owners since then and by chance I came across it again in 2017 when I bought it back. It was looking a bit tired but was running O.K. and passed its MOT which ran out in 2019. It’s covered just 3000 miles in the last 8 years according to the MOTs. As it was showing its age I decided to give it a good make over. I had the forks re-chromed, bought loads of bits from Kawasaki and a few 2nd hand parts to spruce it up……and then bought an 1100 engine with the view to swapping a few parts over to give a bit more pep. Progress has been slow (only the forks have been refitted) and time doesn’t allow me to get any further with this so have decided after 18 months off the road, hopefully, someone else can get it back on the road. 1 key fits ignition, tank and seat lock. New parts are:- Forks re-chromed………………………Fork seals & dust covers. H/bar Grips………………………………Throttle cables Chrome fork caps……………………….Chrome S/arm caps New levers……………………………….Rubber brake union covers Original indicators……………………….oil & air filters. I’ve also bought USA bars, original shocks (can be rebuilt apparently), replacement r/h side panel. (Original is cracked). Some hoses as originals looked a bit perished. Brake pads. A new seat cover which matches the original. Spare front brake set just in case the originals needed a full rebuild. Fork legs and other Alloy parts have been polished. I have loosely reassembled the ancillary bits as I checked them over. Its all there and It should make a cracking bike especially if it’s rebuilt as an 1100.Photos make it look better than it is..but not by much Obviously needs to be collected by Van. No reserve.
