I am listing this for a friend of mine, Paul, who is not on eBay. 1948 Norton model 18. 500cc ohv single. V5C present. Classed as historic, so tax and MOT exempt at this age. None transferable reg. This machine is an older restoration, but still looks great. Not pristine, but very very presentable none the less. The bike has been very well looked after and starts immediately and sounds great. Fantastic oil return, great sounding engine. No undue noise or smoke. The bike pulls like a train and just feels well sorted and relaxed. What a smashing bike. Charging, lighting up. Looks great with the chrome tank. Not over the top, just a brill late 40s working bike built to do a job, which was to take folk to work every day. This would make the trip to work a pleasure. There is some history with the bike indicating works undertaken in the past. The bike looks to have been kept to standard spec. The tinware is all standard. The paint and chrome work is all nice and clean in the flesh. Its just a really nice period thing.
