Husqvarna WR 125 2009 2 stroke road legal / learner legal Bike is currently SORN as mainly used off-road. It will just need a new daylight MOT which expired May 2019 however the bike has off road tyres so some test centres would fail the bike unless you take it to an enduro bike specific test centre that ignores this but you would need to check with them first. Bike also has no speedo, I was using a wireless bike speedo until I lost it somewhere off the beaten track. I’ve fitted a battery bike horn but has no lights (hence will only pass daylight MOT). I‘ve owned the bike 2 years, I was riding the bike on CBT learner licence but now have a full licence and looking to purchase a bigger bike. Bike runs mint. Top end was re-built about 30 hours ago aprox (no speedo / computer) so reading this from a mates bike that was rebuilt roughly about the same time. Oil filter cleaned and engine oil changed regularly. Chained cleaned and oiled after every use. Kick starts 1st/2nd time. Changes through all the gears fine and wants to rip your arms off when you hit the power band in any gear. I have been using Putoline MX9 to premix fuel at 60:1 and it runs sweet 👌 I was surprised just how much power you get from a 125 2 stroke (my first bike), it was just about keeping up with all my mates bikes which are all 300 2 strokes, it just struggles to get power half way up some of the more vertical hills if you don’t have enough momentum. I’ve owned the bike about 2 years and maintained what I can but through all the crashing and bashing the bike could do with a bit of TLC as the pictures show. ProblemsRadiator hose has a bodge copper pipe fix from previous owner (although it has never leaked on me)Both rear struts which sit under the rear fender have been snapped off the frame (from dropping the bike on it’s rear too many times).Seal on the end of the clutch cable has started to leak.Exhaust has a few dentsNeeds a new mudguard I will give the bike a good clean and another oil change this week prior to the sale. I’m happy to meet the buyer away from home at a nearby location (Arlesey, Bedfordshire) as there have been many thefts after bikes have been advertised and I’m not keen to let anyone know where by bikes are kept. No test drives until I have cash in hand. Comes with V5 and printed manual placed in a folder. I’m not sure what the bike is worth so will I just let the auction run.
