This is a 99p start no reserve auction for a 1997 Honda VTR1000F FIRESTORM. Auction will run till the end unless a sensible offer is made. If you are bidding, you are bidding to buy, not to turn up kick the tyres and make your mind up then or try and chip the price. 1997 Honda VTR1000F Firestorm. I bought this for myself but had a change of heart and decided to finish my 400 instead. Keys and full logbook present in my name, NO MOT. The bike starts and runs well, no nasty noises or smoke, low mileage at 31k. Fitted with a nice pair of stainless scorpion cans with removable baffles (Rh can has minor damage), somebody has also gone to the effort of fitting a rear hugger and fender extender to protect the underside, front tyre is a Bridgestone I believe, and is good. The bike has evidently been well loved in a previous life.The front exhaust flange is good . However the bike cosmetically is a little scruffy. From what I can see it will need a rear tyre, a screen, and a Lh fairing (included in the sale with the bike) to put back on the road, tank is dented. Off the road since 2018 and dry stored in workshop. Everything appears to work as it should, brakes nice and free and feel good when applied rolling.Please study the pictures, these make up the majority of the description, and if unsure please don't bid. Viewing is welcome by appointment prior to auction end. Would make a very nice (and very cheap) firestorm again with a little effort. It is what it is, and it ain't what it ain't.
