Here we are selling our Piaggio Beverly 125cc moped 2004. Owned the scooter for about 4 years. No longer needed hence the genuine reason for sale. Used regularly then has been stood in the garage for the last year or two. Engine starts well, and runs well. Top speed of around 60mph. Just fitted a brand new battery last week. The moped has no MOT or tax so selling as spares or repair. Both tyres are above legal limit, although I believe the rear tyre has a slow puncture, and both brakes work really well. Have checked all fluid levels are right amounts. 2 sets of keys, v5 log book present. Just changed the front wheel with a tyre with more tread and since doing that the speedo has stopped working, probably sensor at the wheel. Moped comes with another spare front wheel. Top box included and keys for that. There is a rubber bush that will need to be changed, it does affect the ride of the bike and will be needed to be fixed for MOT, other than that I don’t think it will need much- not wanting to spend any money and time on it so selling as it is! Please note this is a 16 year old moped, it has scrapes scuffs, corrosion etc so please do not expect a mint bike. Occasionally a light flashes on the dash which it has done this since we’ve had it and the mileage is difficult to read on the screen. Will make a great little commuter for someone.
