Hi. Thanks for looking at my BMW F650 GS. This is a great bike, I have been using it for commuting, adventure riding/ green-lanes and general transport. Its reliable and has been fully trustworthy in all types of weather. I have given it a full service myself less than 1,000 miles ago including, upgraded spark plugs (2, it's a twin spark, single cylinger engine), new high quality chain and sprockets, upgraded headlight bulb, new Motobatt battery (didn't need it but I put them on all my bikes as they are bulletproof and have always performed amazingly), top quality oil and filter, air filter, front brake pads and brake fluid. I have also recovered the seat with some added memory foam which really improved the comfort and balance on the bike. I hadn't planned on selling it so wanted to put it get it sorted for a long time to come. I've found a new toy to buy now so someone else can benefit from all this work.. it's possible I may regret this as its really been an excellent bike. Easily enough power for motorway speeds, very easy to ride, good handling off road. Here are the details: - 2005, 41,000 miles (but these things go forever.. check it out on google) - MOT until July but it will go straight through and I'll get it a new one this week if the testing stations are open. - pretty good condition but shows its age in places.. has some corrosion on the engine, brake pedal, scratches here and there etc but its a good solid bike with loads of miles left in it. please don't expect a pristine bike, this is a bike to use not polish, buy it cheap then get out there and get riding. you won't be sorry.- factory heated grips - switchable ABS for offroad work (ABS works well on both wheels, I've tested it to be sure) - 60 to 65 MPG, 170miles to 185miles per tank before the light comes on.- BMW topbox which opens on the ignition key- water pump was done at 36,000 miles so should be fine for a while (it's not that bad a job if you fancy giving it a go)- 1 ignition key and V5 present plus receipts for recent parts- adventure tyres for on road and off road riding - low seat height (nb, they made these in different sizes and others can be a lot taller. I'm 5ft 7 and can get both feet flat on the floor - really makes life easy and comfortable/safe to ride) - center stand and side stand- c.200kg wet weight.. middle of the road in bike terms - has road presence but not too heavy- LEZ compliant (but not ULEZ) NO RESERVE. you'll get a really good bike for the money.. capable of crossing continents on or off-road, nice and easy to ride in any weather, cheap running costs.
