Reluctantly I have decided to sell my impulse project. Its a 94' yamaha XJ600 diversion.Selling as a running project (spares or repairs)As you can see its not standard.Since I bought it the bike has had quite an overhaul.Full strip down and rebuild with fresh black powder coat frame(custom chopped rear end)Cafe seatCustom painted tank.Cafe style handle barsWrapped straight through 4-2-1 exhaust.Amongst several other visual modifications the bike has benefited from a good engine strip down and clean. The rebuilt. This is a running, rideable project that needs minor adjustments and tweets to pass an mot so would make the perfect COVID project for anyone with the knowledge to do so or simply just a cheap project to wreck and rag.The work that needs doing are as follows. .carbs need fine tuning due to strip down to find a leak(thought it was a seal but one pot had a slight hairline crack) .electrics could benefit from some new connector plugs. .digital speedo needs connecting properly(have everything for this including a cable drive speedo) As its been sitting for so long it does struggle to start, but runs well afterwards. Some simple issues to rectify however, as stated this is a reluctant sale. I need to make way to complete other projects and this could simply be enjoyed by someone who won't let it sit in a corner for 6+ months like myself.
