Hi All, Well, its time to say goodbye to a trusted old bike. Mainly because I cant be bothered to fix her up anymore. I have owned the bike since 2015 or so and use her as my popping to a local bar bike 1976 frame, 1978 wheels and engine. She is registered as a historic vehicle so no Tax required, or MOT. Cheap winter runaround. Gets up to and onto her center stand no problem which shows how good frame is. She has a proper full set of panels which will go with the bike, the topbox bag stays with me. Stainless steel exhaustElectronic ignition (Optronics), New 7 volt regulatorBrakes work fineGL1100 coils so wires can be changed, AGM batterycharges fine, starts and rides but needs a little work. This is not a ride into the sunset bike. She is burning oil on the right hand side, looks like valve stem oil seals and that could explain the lumpy start. She needs to be taken apart, and frame powder coating and engine painting etc if you want to make her run perfectly again, or you can ride her as is and live with the lumpyness. I have lots of pictures of the bike but not in its current state as its been with me for years and has had several paintjobs and personalities. This photo is what she looks like now. She hates starting cold (You have to stay operating the throttle to keep her running till she warms up a bit) but once warm will start ok.
