2002 Suzuki RV200 Van Van Unregistered JAP Import Barn Find Classic Restoration Manufacturer: Suzuki Model: RV200 Van Van Year: 2002 Engine No: H403-101994 Frame No: NH41A-102007 Colour: Green Mileage: 21020 KM Capacity: 199cc Starting at: £1199.99 Stock No: 88688 This Circa 2002 Suzuki RV200 Van van has recently been imported from Japan where it has spent all its life. We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it. The single most important purchase for a classic restoration project is the bike to restore, whether it's going to be a commercial venture or just a hobby interest it all starts here!. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES........As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Mirrors & CDI unit being the most obvious. It has stood a while so the tyres are perished. Sadly the forks are rust pitted & seat cover has a puncture in it. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.........The wheels are essentially straight but rear spokes have been sprayed silver but brake plate is ok, front has reasonable disc, caliper & working master cylinder. Forks & yokes look straight. Mudguards are both solid. Tail light assy is ok as are the headlight & hangers. Instruments & switches look ok. Carburettor is free sliding off the twist grip. Paintwork is slightly faded but solid, fuel tank is useably clean inside. Seat base is in good condition throughout. The engine turns over nicely off the button – sounds/feels great & has compression but without the CDI it isn’t sparking so we haven't had it running. We HAVE NOT got the Certificate of Title and we will provide proof that VAT & Duty is paid on the NOVA system.(This can take upto 4 weeks) Registration. You need to get the bike MOTed. (Vehicles over 40 years old are MOT exempt) You need proof of year of manufacture in writing. Suzuki UK also offer this service but apparently do not have records for anything older than 40 years old. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number. Send all this paper work to the DVLA, who will charge you £55 for the 1st registration plus the current amount for the road tax. The DVLA will send you your age related registration number. Spares you may need Our used spares dept may carry items you need for this project, give them a call on 01782 862200, if parts are available they will be happy to list them on EBay so you can purchase.
