Fantastic restoration or twinshock race bike project - 1973 Yamaha MX250 This bike arrived on a container on thursday & it's being sold exactly as it arrived.. Phill & I travel to California buying these bikes and bringing them back to the UK. We filmed a TV pilot show & have a web series online about our travels, the bikes & cars.. The motor is stuck but sometimes that is the way with these old 2 strokes - normally they get stuck at the top end - maybe a bit of moisture gets in an the ring rusts to the barrel - these kinds of seized motors are easy to free up. There's no way to tell unless you start the job of freeing it up but we know that the new owner would rather do that themselves so we have left this exactly as is.. A great starting point for a twinshock race bike or restoration project.. what you see is exactly what you get - cracking starting point for your project. Bike is 47 years old & is being sold as a project - which in the current climate is what we all need projects to keep us in the house/garage!! obviously due to current lock down restrictions people may find it difficult to collect so we can either take a sizeable deposit & you can collect after the lock down OR currently bike delivery companies are still delivering bikes throughout the country so we can get you in touch for it to be delivered... any questions please feel free to ask Classic bikes have seen huge increases in value over the past 10 years & they are set to continue.
