Up for auction with no reserve is my 1998 honda hornet. Please only bid if you have the funds, means of collection and serious about purchasing. I bought this bike a little over a year ago to do light restoration to it whilst I was getting my license etc. I got as far as passing my theory and then the lockdown happened. My circumstances have now changed somewhat so it sadly needs to go, but during the extra time I had available during lockdown, the bike is now finished as I wanted. I bought the bike in its original condition in yellow, it had just had a fresh mot and the previous owner had changed all the consumables required for mot and given it a service. It has done less than 10 miles since. The bike has plenty of invoices as you can see, old mot's, its serviced stamped by dealers up to around 10k then there are invoices to cover it and clear evidence it has been well looked after. In the invoices there is evidence of shock and front spring upgrades which is a common upgrade on these. As you can see, the bike looks fresh and the modifications I have done during the bit of restoration have really bought it into the 21st century and modernised the look. May be a bad valve/puncture but factor in the price of an mot and tyre. It will obviously need trailering away until it has gone through an mot/safety inspection. Other than that, its ready to go. It starts and rides well very well indeed and revs/pulls right through and is very easy to ride. Feel free to email questions.
