1987 kawasaki kx500 imported from North America in original unrestored condition, this bike came from southern california and the vendor said the bike originally came from Mike Fisher a long time Kawasaki factory supported rider and test rider for Kawasaki who finished 3rd overall in the 1987 outdoor national moto Cross championship and went on to manage the monster kawasaki mx team many years later, unfortunately there is no documentary evidence to show this, the bike comes with its original factory service manual, tuning manual and a manual for a kawasaki fork cartridge kit that is presumably fitted to the bike. The bike has no numbers on the frame or engine and they have never been stamped so this bike was either built from new parts back in the day or was possibly a kawasaki test bike destined for the crusher that had a lucky escape, either way make up your own mind and study the pictures as they show the condition of the bike, the bike runs and rides and looks to be in all stock original condition even down to the graphics and sprockets still fitted.
