I have for sale a project I undertook with my son. The bike was initially a non-runner, and has been lovingly restored to its youth. I am a precision engineer by trade, and there are numerous items of work done, but below are some of the tasks undertaken during the restoration: Completely removed all items from frame Shot blasted & powder coated frame & swing arm All alloy casings stripped back and polished Professional respray on tank, side panels, mudguards and headlight surround, (metallic Subaru black) Bespoke tank graphics Rebuilt top end, including new inlet & exhaust valves New piston, piston rings & gudgeon pin New mirrors Bespoke silencer (CNC machined) – gives a wonderful rich exhaust note Bespoke stainless decibel buster (removable) New battery Stainless steel rear passenger foot peg spindles Rebuilt front caliper (using stainless steel piston and slide rod) New brake seal kit Stainless steel nuts and bolts have been utilised wherever possible The project initially started out for my son to understand the workings of an engine, but in locating & rectifying the fault, (a broken valve), we felt the bike needed a complete restoration to give it a new lease of life. This bike starts first time from cold out of the garage and runs exceptionally well. It is also learner legal, and will be an asset to anyone wishing to ride this special one off machine.
