Fully road legal ttr250 12000 ish miles on the clock. Previous owners used it as a road bike hence some main dealer service history and a set of road tyres included. I had it mot d at the beginning of the year and have not ridden it since. There are no known faults and everything works and it starts easily. Being a fuss pot I am not happy with the paint on the rear sub frame. Yamaha Trademark. My plan was to tidy this up. You can see where the previous owner has kept on top of the surface rust with a non matching paint. I have bought the correct paint to carry out the repair but you will have to decide if you want to do it or not. However the paint is included in the sale as are all of the new tyres in the pile, two new tubes an air filter and a down gear front sprocket. Had a totally Ttr/ thumped talk exhaust header and jetted to suit. Plus bash plates and frame protectors. Engine sounds like a sewing machine and the standard tail pipe means it can be used off road with the trf without causing offence. In fact I have been stopped a few times off road by the police and sent on my way with full blessing. The bike can be ridden away and should not need any thing other than fuel and chain lube. I will try to answer all questions: the bike has a seat, check the photos. I took it off the show the condition of the underneath. speedo works, no fork seal leaks or any leaks anywhere, wheel bearings were renewed following a previous mot failure oil and filters inc air filter were done last year, it has done about a 100 miles since. I tend to buy service parts as a bundle and then get my mot garage to do the work mainly so they can dispose of the oil. so if I can find them I should have the parts for he next. I use mobil 1 fully synth. the thimble full it takes does no warrant cheap oil the original service book was stamped by hayballs of Salisbury and shows the scheduled 20,000 km full service which would have included valve clearances. sprockets are good, chain is fine but its a plain steel type rather than a coated gold so after off road use and jet wash it forms a coat of surface rust and looks horrible. for looks if nothing else it was on my to do list to replace with a prettier one.. yes exhausts are notorious for rotting. this one is solid and has no sign of previous repair. panels are all undamaged. seat is undamaged. frame as mentioned before is mainly really nice but has some areas where the paint has lifted mainly around the rear subframe. I think its worth making the effort to tidy this up hence why I bought the correct paint. it wont stop you enjoying the bike but the ocd will get you eventualy. yes the rack is included, looks better without tbh but is usefull. original tool kit is complete and can be seen in the photo under the rear. as I recall they come with a spanner that is the wrong size, I replaced it with the correct one from totally ttr (who I buy all of my parts from) starts easily with kick or electric start original mirrors are both back on the bike there is no buy now price, im buying a new bike and the start price is the trade in price they offered which I though was low considering the popularity. with cash I can get a better deal. the bike will need to be collected within 7 days and as I work full time this will need to be evenings and weekends. payment needs to be cash, no paypal or bank transfers please (we do observe social distancing and use ppe where its difficult so please do the same)
