Known history.To the best of my knowledge this bike spent the majority of it life in Canada which is where I bought it, I was into classic tractors and it came back at that time around five or six years ago. The bike was professionally restored in 1996 (Sticker under seat). I'm guessing it was then used for a short time before being purchased by the next owner, the gentleman I bought it from. He never ran it and it spent the next ten or twelve years displayed in his loft along with several other machines. I purchased it, shipped it home and again it went into dry storage until recently when I applied for an age related registration number and v5, this is now present and in my name. Its unlikely I will get around to putting it on the road so maybe its time for someone else to enjoy it before the summer is passed.I therefore decided it should be pulled it out given it a good clean. I have since obtained a battery (good used one) put a little petrol in and fired her up. I haven't had it out on the road but have taken it around my property a couple of times and it seem to start, run, change gear and stop fine. Having been unused for so long I'm sure it would benefit from a good service and tune up before putting to use. As you can see she polishes up well, let down slightly by some age related patina on the wheel rim although perfectly serviceable (see pictures). The right side fuel tap leaks some fuel so I've only fired it up a few times.
