My trusty old Xr250, 84 twin carb, been sitting in a corner of workshop for over 2 years, dragged it out and started after 4 kicks. Runs and rides ace but the throttle cable snapped whilst I was riding up and down on it so will need a new one. Still kicks off fine and you can pull the cable to hear it running. It's an ace bike, a little crusty but bulletproof. Carb floats need sorting, sticking cos it's been sat. I bought it a while ago to restore it but I've decided to let it go due to time. It's a good solid bike, engine is spot on and it sounds amazing with that 80s supertrapp muffler on it. Its had a new seat cover, the rest is up to you... It only needs a throttle cable and sticky frontbrake sorting to ride it. Twin cars are superRare now and it's a quick bike for a four stroke250.ITS NOT REGISTERED.Inever botheredBut its got its numbers intact and matching I think the light coil is there and it's a Japanese xr not Canadian so it'd be worth doing cos its super rare.No messing please, it's a good bike and doesn't need muchso sensible offers are welcome.
