I'm running out of space to house my bikes. At least one of them has to go. I have 2 Norton Dominator 99's so I'm offering this one for sale. 1959 Norton Dominator 99. SHED FIND OILY RAG CONDITION. Restore or ride as is. Matching engine and frame number bike.Has the much sought after wideline frame, correct for year. Rebuilt engine with all new bearings, rebore and pistons, sludge trap cleaned out, valve seats re-cut and valves lapped in. New cam and followers. New wheel bearings and Avon road rider tyres.All new rubber components.ALL major components, both front and rear mudguards, tank and seat, speedometer, tinware, e.t.c. are original NORTON and not reproduction. RARE 2 piece rear mudguard. New chains including timing chains.New AMAL mk1 carburetor. I've used this almost every dry day and some of the wet ones for the last 12 months.Rides good.12v conversion. Obviously not everybody's cup of tea, but it has good patina, with original paint to the fuel tank, oil tank and battery box lid, frame and most of the fork tinware. Wheels are solid with period high flange alloy rims. I was going to get them re-spoked at some point in the future, likewise, I was also going to replace the silencers if I was going to keep it. I've tried to paint an honest picture for any perspective buyer but nobody is perfect. To this end, the pictures form the majority of the description and speak for themselves. To avoid any disappointment though, I'd prefer the bidder/buyer to view the machine before auction end. I'm also happy to e-mail detailed images to ANY BIDDER. I have the V5c in my name.
