For sale is my upgraded and fantastic looking MT-09 in Blue and Silver with more than £3,500.00 of upgrades!!! 3 keys (2 normal and the Red key)Plenty of receipts for works carried out.Service history stamped etc.ABS safety feature that you only know is there when it's needed, why wouldn't you want that peace of mind? Lots and lots of upgrades. loads of extra bits (either not installed or original parts)MOT not due until mid March 2021. This bike has all of the sensible, usable and neccesary upgrades, It now handles perfectly, has new grippy tyres that also work very well in the wet and has upgraded brakes and lines so you never have to worry about stopping, it rides perfectly, looks great and is very well looked after, It doesn't need anything and just needs to be enjoyed. The only does side to the MT-09 in general is the suspension, don’t make the mistake I did and try save money getting one of these amazing bikes with standard suspension as you will end up paying for the upgrade and this has been completely upgraded with the best possible manufacturer Ohlins and now is a total pleasure to ride, It is now perfect for long rides as it is very comfortable (especially with the Comfort Seat on) and yet is also now as happy flipping from side to side with what feels like no effort, It holds the road incredibly and it offers so much confidence from novice to the experienced rider, it can keep up with anything with the right rider in control or offers a sensible comfy riding position with all the grip and stability you would want. The bike has loads of torque and such a lovely tone being a tripple. It has more power than you will need but it's in the right place so you don't need to rev it (scream it like the 600cc or lower) it's just a pleasure to ride. It also has 3 power modes than can be changed on the road, an aggresive race or fast road setting, a more gentle setting that offers all the power but a bit calmer and a 3rd that is a reduced power mode for either wet weather or for those that just want to enjoy the low down torque, lovely noise and handelling but with reduced power to maybe use it for commuting or tootling etc. I cant speak highly enough of this bike, I wouldn't recommend it with the standard supension as it's notably poor but with the Ohlins it handles exceptionally. It's planted, safe and you can push it well beyond your limits and it never misbehaves. The new tyres warm up quick in the warm and are great in wet as well, they are the latest version only out this year I believe and have done very few miles, maybe 200 if that. Upgrades; Full Ohlins Front Fork Catridges - These are basically full Ohlins forks that slide into the old case so they dont change the look of the bike but offer all of the performance and adjustment (the original MT-09 forks are a major weak point, you would notice them) (Original Included). (£1,250.00) Rear Ohlins Shock - This is again a major failing with the original shock and this with the forks makes such a difference I cant even explain how fantasitc these are compared to the originals (Original Included). (£800.00) Akropovic Exhaust - This sounds lovely, it was a factory upgrade from Yamaha and is much lighter but sounds much better, still passes MOT's and offers a slight performance increase etc etc, it has a removal baffle included thats not installed. Hel braided lines for the ABS system - These are another safety upgraded, making the brakes sharper with more feeling, they are also harder wearing, longer lasting (a life time guarantee) and much better performing and they look better . (£250) Brake pads - Double H Sintered pads, they are the best pads you can put on that offer incredible performance without any noticable downgrade in the wet (originals included that are like new, they were only upgraded for performance) (£110) New Tyres Michelin Power 5 - 2CT (dual compound so they are harder for more miles in the middle and soft and grippy on the outer, they really do work well and are the latest model with great reviews, less than 200 miles I'd say. (£250) LED headlight bulbs - Not blinding but a brighter light if you are caught in the dark and more noticable for cars etc, plus they look much nicer. (£50) LED sweeping indicators slim - Front - They are Daytime Running Lights when not in indicator mode, they look great and also make you more visable, when indicating they sweep so look very modern and also more noticable. (£20) LED sweeping indicators slim - Rear - They are extra braking lights when not in indicator mode, they look great and also make you more visable, when indicating they sweep so look very modern and also more noticable. (£20) LED rear break cluster - the orginal rear brake light looks like an afterthought (included in the sale if you prefer it) this one is a slim, brighter and much more sleek looking unit, it also had an indicator function built in (but being used at the moment but its easy to set-up and I can do this if prefered, it would allow you to remove the rear indicators if you wanted. (£160) Pyramid side infills - they sit below the seat and look fantasic in carbon look, they make the lines of the bike flow but can be removed if you prefer to see the subframe.(£100) Rear foot rest blanking plates (rear footpegs included). (£30) Adjustable wide or shortie blue flip-up leavers (£70) Comfort Seat just to make it a dream on longer rides, be this excitable ones or touring (plus original included. (£140) Oxford Heated Grips - Perfect for the long runs or comuting, just a nice extra when you need them. (£130) Datatag is on it and can be registered to the buyer. Bar end mirrors that just look much better (originals included). (£50) Tail tidy - Keeps everything neat so you see the beauty of the bike (smallest legal numberplate installed - Flexi so it cant get knocked and snapped etc) (£50) Carbon Fibre tank cover (saves the tank from zips etc but this is genuine carbon and looks really nice). (£70) Fly Screen - Black (looks nice but also offers more wind and fly protection) (£70) Radiator side covers - In black and nicely hides the radiatior sides (£80) Belly pan and under rad cover - not got around to installing them but they are included (£100) Little bits like anodised standard mirror blanking, brake fluid caps front and back etc. The bike hasn't done a lot of miles for its age and will go forever, these engines are not straining and are built to last well beyond the 100K mark, however its also not new so as an example it has some very minor stone chips or marks etc, it is a 2015 with 19K so providing you don't expect it to be new you will be very happy with this bike and the condition of it. (MT09, MT 09 & FZ09) Happy bidding, contact me if you need anything further or want to view the bike. Buyer is responsible for collection, if it is to be by a courier etc funds of course need to be cleared first. I could potentially organise delivery if needed for a cost to be agreed but there are some good guys out there that provide this for sensible money and I have some numbers to assist, this is only if we agreed beforehand of course.
