Honda C50 LAC super cub. This is a 3-speed fully automatic 49cc bike. Almost identical to the C70 and C90 models. This is a crossover model, so you get the best of both worlds - 12V electrics, and the older, round headlight styling. I have called it a project, as it's in good running and working order except for the rear end, which has rusted through - see pictures for details. This will need either welding up (new rear ends are easily available on eBay) or potentially chopping off and making it into a custom cub. Being the rarer LAC model, it has a parking brake lever on the left hand bar, which makes for an easy conversion to a manual. The bike has previously had a 110cc Lifan engine in it, and has been run for about 2000 miles with that engine. During this time it had a different speedometer in it, so although the current speedometer is showing 14,330 miles, I estimate the true mileage to be 16-17,000. The V5c is in my name, but still shows it with the 110cc engine. I still have the (defunct) V5c with the 50cc engine, and it should be relatively easy to get it changed back if you so wish. I still have the 110cc fully manual engine available, and I'd be happy to sell that separately if you want. The 50cc engine that's in it currently is the original engine, which runs great, starts easily and is a lot of fun. It's got good Avon tyres on it, and comes with a period chrome luggage rack and Rickman top box - these can both be removed very easily. The paintwork is OK, not perfect - few rust spots showing in places, and obviously the rear mudguard is not great. It has also peeled around the fuel cap under the seat, and been touched up badly, but this is hidden. Still has an MOT until 16th July - which will now be extended by 6 months until January 2021. While it does ride as it is, it will need the rear end sorting out before its next MOT. Viewing is welcome. Collection only, from North Cambridge, just off the A14 J32.
