Description
Yamaha R1 4XVNo V5 but frame and engine numbers present and not messed with.Brand new built and tuned engine - graham Burrows head, brand new pistons, gearbox, clutch, literally a new motor, lovely and smooth. Pulls like a train just like it’s supposed to.Race cams (exact type not known)Skimmed head, polished and portedNew pistons, gearbox, clutch (standard)Had one Dyno run just to put some miles on the motor before I rode it at Donington. The power figure we got that day was 142BHP. We didn’t do a proper power run or alter anything, it’s got more power in there but I wanted it reliable and strong. And it is. It’s savage in fact!Running total loss.Full Akra with nice 60mm carbon canTranslogic shifterValter Moto rearsets (new) Ohlins shockForks with K tech valve kit and springs - I have just got the forks and shock back from 100% suspension after treating it all to an overhaul. Samco hosesBrembo MCBrembo clutch lever and perch Race dashBraided linesCarbon frame coversCrash protection all round including the forksI have a nice paddock stand that’s on wheels that will be included with the bike too. Makes life much easier when you can move it round the garage while on the stand. The seat unit fitted currently is the super bike type fitted, I also have the standard one too. The two sets of fairings it comes with are decent though and a perfect fit. My racing plans have changed now so my nice paint job I had planned never made it on the bike so unfortunately the paint is the only thing that lets it down a bit if we’re being picky here. Just being honest. But it’s a race bike at the end of the day! The black fairings are all tidy and usable. THE SPECIAL BIT - This bike has a spondon frame and swingarm modification. Virtually impossible to value it as it’s probably one of only a handful in existence. They would cut the headstock off and alter the angle so as to put more weight on the front. Also the swingarm has a setting in it to shorten the wheel base. My knowledge of these bikes is minimal but I’m guessing they didn’t like turning in as standard but this one drops in like a modern bike would. Plenty of spares to keep it going through a good few seasons racing. Gaskets, rear sets, engine cases, the usual stuff. I also have a custom made wheel holder that holds 2 sets of wheels. Ideal when racing, I’ll chuck that in too if the asking price is met. Reasonable offers considered. 07368 459474
