I have listed here a 1989 Yamaha XJ 750. I purchased this bike five years ago with the intention of restoring it but I have just purchased another XJ 750 so need to let this one go. The bike was manufactured in 1985 but first registered in 1989. As you can see in the last photo I had purchased parts for the restoration which include a speedo in MPH which has nearly the correct mileage so you can have a UK speedo. One key fits all the locks (good news as it only has one key) and the original fuel tank was full of rust so a replacement one is supplied which is in good condition inside. The front calipers are seized and the bike comes with two calipers and pads which were taken from an XJ 650 which had covered only 4200 miles so in great condition. The left handle handlebar switch is missing a few buttons so a used one is supplied. The bike was running on two/three cylinders when I bought it but due to the amount of rust that was inside the tank the carbs will need a good clean out. Forks have no pitting on either the swept area on upper section, as you can see in the photos fork gaiters have been fitted. Has a pair of Avon Roadrider tyres which are nearly new. Will make a great bike when completed and as bike comes with all the major parts to finish it an easier project to complete as sourcing parts can be time consuming and also expensive.
