1997 Kawasake ZX-6R Ninja project. A great opportunity to pick up what will be a very awesome bike with a luscious 14k red-line. Very regretfully for sale due to moving house, personal issues, and covid-related employment issues, I am forced to sell my lovely 97' zx6r Ninja for what I see is a fair price for a bike that needs very little work to be serviceable and usable for many years to come. I am losing the space in which I work and so simply cannot afford to keep it anymore, and I refuse to let a good bike sit in the rain to be destroyed, so it must go on to a new owner It has been kept garaged and the frame is in fantastic condition with only the odd mark here and there. It was disassembled for a tidy-up after it very unfortunately slipped off the stand when parking up (see pic of fairing damage) I took this opportunity to polish the frame, something I had always wanted to do. This process still needs to be completed. It has recently had a new chain. It is in a stunning candy red, much better than neon green but the purists may dispute that. In the reassembly stage, it was found that the fuel pump relay is dead. I have diagnosed this by getting the bike running by bypassing the relay, it sounds awesome! (video proof). This will be a very good bike for someone who appreciates a project, as it needs only minor faults corrected, a spanner check, and a quick service to be back on the road and in use. The fairings were thrown on to demonstrate that the bike is complete, but it is still currently in pieces so the buyer needs to understand this. It comes with spare shock internals. V5 present and accounted for, as well as quite extensive and documented service history. 40710 miles Issues: -Speedo cable (£6.95 posted on ebay) -Radiator nipple snapped off (£20 second hand rad, job done) -Fuel pump relay (£13.49 posted on Ebay) -Needs reassembled and spanner check -Maybe a carb check and tune up. All in all, you could have a very nice bike for a little bit of time and not a lot of money. I really wish I could keep it as my FZR is a little too small, and this is a proper size bike, but needs must ☹️. Located in Oxford.Cash or bank transfer on collection only. £650
