VERY SPECIAL DUCATI 999R - COLLECTORS ITEM BUILD - NUMBER 008RE-LISTED WITH NO RESERVE - WILL BE SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDERI have owned the Ducati for 8 years in which time I have only ridden it 4 times and covered around 500 miles as I only purchased it as a show piece. It is a beautifully presented bike which is in superb condition and has previously had a considerable amount of money lavished on it by one of it's fastidious mature owner's, which both enhance the impressive specification and it's looks. The last 2 owners were very good friends with each other and both known to me in the biking circle so it's history and pedigree are sure. The Ducati has always been garaged and in my ownership has been kept in a heated annex building on trickle charge. It is started and run up every few months. It has a full and comprehensive Ducati service history, all from the Main Ducati dealer in Wolverhampton where the bike was also purchased. It has every MOT print dating back to 2008, a fully stamped service book (until it was full) and is accompanied by a service print out for every service from 2006 which includes 4 main services (belts and plugs) and 4 annual services. The bike has covered just over a 1000 miles in the last 10 years. The last full service it had was in October 2016 which included 2 new tyres and it has only covered 100 miles since then. There is a host of other paperwork too including the K-Tec suspension set up, power commander print out etc. It comes with all the original keys, commemorative plaque, manual, tool kit and Ducati bike cover. All the original parts that have been changed / upgraded are also included with the bike, (all bubble wrapped and boxed up since being taken off) so the bike could be put back to standard if required. This includes the full Termignoni exhaust system, screen, mirrors, carbon front mudguard etc....There are decals on the fairing which were designed for it and it has not been sprayed, so these could simply be removed if required. The current mileage reads 3451 but the clocks were replaced on 9/9/2006 under Ducati warranty and this is documented in the service book. The mileage when they were replaced was 3194 so the total mileage is actually 6645 as stated. The list of upgrades is impressive and the parts alone would have cost in the excess of £7k back in 2006 when Peter had the modifications carried out. It looks amazing with the special upgrades but also has all the parts to return it to it's original factory condition if you choose to (who would want to?). These bikes are going up in value now, please look at what they are selling for. Please no messages with silly offers below the starting price as they won't be accepted.
