I bought this bike for a little project whilst on furlough. It starts & runs as good as new after having spent a lot of time & money as follows..... New rear tyreNew batteryNew statorNew speedo drive & sealNew speedo cableNew dash & number plate bulbsNew mirrorsNew fairing screws & boltsNew fuel filterNew oil filterNew oil I have also replaced an incorrect starter/light (right hand) cluster for the original AJS one. As it's chinese built, I have replaced all of the (dodgy) electrical connections for proper crimped connectors. From the above, you can see that it has had a full service including changing the fuel & oil filters, oil change, carburetor & air filter cleaned & engine degreased/cleaned. The fairing was held together with a mishmash of bolts & wood screws which I have replaced with proper fairing screws. The small spark plug access panel below the seat is missing (as per the last pic). I havent replaced this as it requires a lock which is only available with a complete new lock/barrell & key set but it certainly has no impact on its performance. There are some scuffs on the body panels as you would expect with age but as per the pics, its generally in good condition. & 12 months MOT!! Expires 24/06/2021. Thanks for looking!
