2009 Kawasaki EN500C Unregistered US Import Barn Find Classic Restoration Proj Manufacturer: Kawasaki Model: EN500 Vulcan Year: 2009 Engine No: EX500AE-348859 Frame No: JKAENVC159A215285 Colour: Red Mileage: 51830 Capacity: 498 Starting at: £100 Stock No: 84632 This nice clean 2009 Kawasaki EN500C Vulcan has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES........As you can see this bike is very clean & remarkably original missing just the l/h mirror. Sadly the seat cover has a few punctures & the tank has a few shallow dents. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.........This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures. The wheels are straight with nice clean chrome rims, good working brakes. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome & clean alloy. Mudguards are both solid & are tidy. Tail light assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Instruments & switches look great. Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip. Paintwork is solid, fuel tank is squeaky clean inside and has just minor dents/marks & scratches in the original paint. Exhausts are original & solid. Indicators are tidy. Chain guard is tidy. Shock absorbers are damping fine. The engine is cosmetically very clean BUT BEST OF ALL it fires, starts & runs on tick-over but when to try to rev it up it drops a cylinder – It needs a good service & carb job. We have got the Certificate of Title for this bike and we will provide proof that VAT & Duty is paid on the NOVA system.(This can take upto 4 weeks) You need to get the bike MOTed. (Vehicles over 40 years old are MOT exempt) You need proof of the year of manufacture in writing. The Certificate of Title is an acceptable document. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number. Send all this paper work to the DVLA, who will charge you £55 for the 1st registration plus the current amount for the road tax. (For vehicles over 40 years old this is free) The DVLA will send you your age related registration number.
