I've owned this bike since April 2014, and have done only 1342 miles on it. Current mileage is 16,011 miles. It's been used every year, runs reasonably well, and is in reasonable condition. In summer it generally starts on the first kick. The rear tyre, a Michelin M62, is only two years old and is almost as new. The exhaust, genuine Honda, was fitted four years ago. New front brake shoes were fitted last year, and the rears were new about 4yrs ago. Rear shock absorbers are also about 4yrs old. It needs a new battery, but does run with what's in there at the moment. I haven't serviced it for two years - it's only done about 300 miles since the last - but a good service and some modest bodywork attention would pay dividends. The dirt on the speedo display is on the inside, and will clean up if the handgrips are removed and the top cover taken off to provide access - I'm sorry but I'm not up to cleaning it myself at present. I'm selling because I'm getting older, and am not getting enough use from it to make it worthwhile keeping. We also want the bit of space back in our small front garden where it lives! The Rickman topbox is in pretty good condition, and security is improved with the two hasp locks I fitted. Included is a heavy duty chain (with a nylon sleeve) that I used to secure the bike to a plate fixed on the ground. Also included is a Haynes manual, a rather tatty owners manual, and a small pile of historical papers and documents. Additional note 1: Please note that the MOT has been extended by 6mths, to 16/10/20, under the Covid MOT extension rules - can be checked online at https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-history Additional note 2: For those not familiar with Honda C90s, I feel I should point out that the front brakes have a reputation for uninspiring performance. This one is no different, though I think the new shoes haven't yet bedded in properly, so should improve. The back brake is good.
