Laverda RGS 1000. Year 1984. Matching engine and frame numbers. In good overall condition. I have owned this bike for the last 8 years it has a large history file going back to 2000. Engine is excellent. Valve clearances checked, carbs cleaned and tuned, starts on the button and idles perfectly. No nasty noises ,rattles or smoke. Wheels have been repainted standard gold and are in great condition. Special exhaust on the bike which sounds and looks great. Stainless brake lines front and rear and a nice pair of colour matched Koni shocks fitted. Paintwork is all original and now has a few chips and scratches which is to be expected after 36 years but nothing serious. Chain and sprockets are good, Rear tyre is worn and needs replacing. The tacho has a life of its own and works when it feels like it which is a very common fault on this particular model. I believe there is a known fix for this. Overall a nice bike, could do with a bit of touching up here and there but it's very presentable as is.
