Up for grabs my 1973 M plate lovely blue YB100 tis an L2 model which i think it the first of the YB'S, please correct me if wrong , wow its 47 years old and a corker with more than a passing likeness to a fs1e but with no worries about that hill with a heavy 10bhp on tap ! Needs a fettle on the timing , dial gauge and feelers I think to get it spot on , showing 10 miles since rebuilt I have done 6 in a year or so. Nice bike lovely to see and hear , frame coated , tank and side panels painted , nice finish, electrical's work incredibly well and the engine sounds dandy , message me for a what’s app of it running if you like. Pictures are part of the description please view , please ask questions but make the realistic i am no anorak or expert on YB100S's just a happy fan !Bikes no show pony but it’s very very nice for 47 years old , no tax or mot required as it’s registered historic , it’s autolube so no mixing and I was told the engine was rebuild so needs a bit of running in but i have no proof i was told it was done at 'racoon' so if you need clartiy maybe you can speak to them i can give you the previous owners details if you want clarity , it’s done 10 miles in two years. One key does all 3 locks key slightly loose in ignition but i didnt want to put a new switch on and lose the match to the steering lock and helmet lock, you know what i mean its nice it all fits, slight pitting on headlight rim which I like but avail new quite cheap off the bay, front spokes not as nice as rear but tidy like the rims , new tyres , easy to start , original exhaust with the yam 14711 numbers and I will chuck in the Haynes. Six owners in 47 years so good there too. Come have a social distance look if you can , if it was a 394 fizz in this condition you know it would be a 5k bike , i sold my poppsy last year in similar condition for 5 grand and i could have sold it 6 times over such is the call for little strokers ! Alas this is a humble YB not a a fizz, just a wanna be lol so grab a bargain for a fraction of a similar age fizz in this condition, no reserve it sells what it sells for tho I reserve the right to sell elsewhere as I have a firm offer locally.
