Used as a commuter for the last 10 years. Never been used on the track to my knowledge.Ideal lock-down / winter project or run-around.Pair of new Bridgestone BT016 tyres (less than 100 miles, still have hairy bits from manufacturing). DID gold x-ring chain in very good condition. Recent oil & filter change. New fork seals installed recently.Battery about 2 years old. Brake calipers had an overhaul (new seals) about 2 years ago. Full Remus stainless pipe with aluminium alloy can.Comes with 2 keys and papers.Detailed Description:Would benefit from a bit of a tidy up cosmetically as there are a few scratches and scrapes from over the years and some superficial rust spots, as would be expected with a bike of this age. I’ve tried to picture all of the cosmetic gremlins and describe them below. It was blown over in a storm since I’ve had it which contributed to some minor damage. It used to belong to a good friend of mine who had a low speed spill on it too.The top L/H fairing was cracked in my mates spill so I got an OE replacement from Ebay but couldn’t get the right colour so had to respray it – the lacquer (top L/H only) has crazed a bit over time for some reason (see pics).Light scratches, scrapes and some damaged stickers on fairing both sides but no cracks (see pics).Shallow dent on top of tank (where a plank fell against it in my garage) which has not cracked the paint and could no doubt be pushed out by somebody who knew what they were doing (see pic).A couple of small cracks on the seat unit and one larger crack that shifted as I was gluing it, so the edge of the crack stands a bit proud (see pic) and I never got round to tidying it but it seems strong. Other than that, all side locating pins in the seat unit are present but the lugs on the mid section above taillight are missing so although the seat unit is secure, it doesn’t fit together so snugly behind the seat (see pic). The pipe is slung a bit lower than the original so the fairing has melted a bit where it touches but it has been like this for ages so it wont get any worse (see pics).Paint on the generator cover is worn away but the cover itself is not deeply scratched so it will look fine with a respray (see pic).L/H bar end-weight missing.Can deliver up to 100 miles. Free delivery within 20 miles, more than that would have to be 40p/mile (to cover one-way on the bike and two-ways in the car for my lift back). Cash in hand (or Paypal as long as it can be verified instantly). No time wasters please, and please don’t ask me to end the auction.
