This is a lovely rare Honda SS125a from 1969, in my opinion the glory years for Honda. Where else could you buy a 125cc electric start that revved to 11,000 every time you tool it out and it never leaked or broke down, compare that to a BSA Bantem or C15 at the time and you will know why they were revered. This bike is basically a 1 owner , he passed away and the incumbent in his house were given the bike by his daughter, they registered it and sold it straight away to myself. It has suffered very minor surface rust through sitting for over 30 years in a dry garage. The engine is typically Honda, starts first kick , ticks over like a watch and revs to oblivion if you want it too. No leaks or rattles. The most important thing of all is it has the ORIGIONAL HONDA SILENCERS, these are totally unobtainium , they aren't perfect by any stretch but they are useable and solid except for a small hole on one underneath that could be patched without noticing or they could be re-chromed (I have another French SS125 that I have had for years and searched the world over for silencers and bought 2 , 1 in California and 1 in Germany with import they cost over £800 6 years ago) . I think it's a shame people spend upwards of £3k restoring then can't get original exhausts , but needs must. Brakes are excellent gears really slick only thing I would change obviously are the tyres. See link below for youtube clip of it running, judge for yourself.
