Hi this bike has come to me through an old family friend.It was purchased new in August 1998 .The family has two sons the eldest rode this bike from new to commute to and from work but after 18 months he passed his car test so sold the bike to his younger brother .He used it for about 3or 4months to go to work on then decided because his workplace was literally less than 10 mins walk from his house and he couldn't keep getting the bike out putting on his gear every day it was quicker to walk.In fact he still walks everywhere he doesn't drive.So bike went into the shed around 2000 and didn't come out until recently.It has no MOT, I have applied and now have V5c in my name.I have drained the old fuel and tried to clean the gunk out of the carb to the best of my ability but I'm no expert.I have fitted a new battery and spark plug and after much kicking (and swearing) It fired up all be it a bit reluctant and hesitant then it starved out of fuel and petrol was coming out of pipe under carb.So at this stage i stopped after some advice and gently tapping the carb body it stopped leaking and I managed to start it again only to get a repeat of petrol leaking so that's all I have done.The lights indicators and electrics all work.There is surface rust in places but it's all there .No rips tears in seat. I have been told the mileage is correct but i cannot verify it as it has never had an MOT There are nicks and small scratches but no broken plastics. There is only one key.Sold as seen no MOT no guarantees you bid you win you pay you collect no haggling .Only serious bids PayPal only full amount within 48 hours of listing end please.I have looked on the web and it appears there are not many of these left only 8 registered i think . So for some one who can bring this back to full use could be owner of a rare piece of kit. I have the number plate i removed it for security reasons.
