YAMAHA TY 80 1975. Yamaha Ty 80 1975, with matching frame and engine numbers.This fast appreciating little classic belonged to my grandaughter some years ago which she learn,t to ride and had many hours of fun on. But alas like many children has since lost interest and is now a lost soul more pre occupied with her phone and sado,s on social media. In the last few weeks i have given it a top end rebuild, new piston and rings, rebore, small end bearing, gudeon pin, c clips and gaskets. It had the bottom end bearings and seals done some time ago but has had little use since.It is second hand and 45 years old so it does have related marks. Anyone who knows anything about these little Japanese bikes will appreciate how solid and reliable they really are. Looked after and maintaned theres at least another 45 years use in it. It runs & sounds lovely all gears select lovely and all brakes and ancillery equipment works as it should. Its currently running on pre mix fuel & oil, but the oil pump and tank is present and will be included with the bike should the future owner decide to refit it.Although the throttle cable is taped (study pics) it functions as it should. Its the outside sleeve that is damaged. These can be replaced for around £15 from Yambits or possibly cheaper on Ebay. Anymore info or if you wish to view the bike, please call me on 07756734685.
