MOTO GUZZI Mk1 LE MANSThe motorcycle you always wanted but could not afford all those years ago....a true iconic classic motorcycle.I did have one of these all those years ago and when I was offered this one owner machine I had to have it.My plan was to restore it back to its former beauty, unfortunately I also started a major building project on my housewhich still has a long way to go and the restoration of the Le Mans is now looking very unlikely.This is a one owner before me machine, last on the road in 1995 very original apart from Mk2 handlebar switches, Hagon shocks, and of course the wheels have been painted but should be silver.It is in the same condition as bought by me, I have not started the engine but I have turned it over with jump leads and checked the compressionwhich was spot on. A couple of faults worth mentioning, the right hand indicator is broken, small dent on right hand silencer also a small piece of fin on the cylinder head is missing, the brake master cylinder will also need attention, but all in all a very original unmolested bike.It will not take much to get it back on the road and you can use it unrestored if you prefer. It is of course an historic vehicle making it free to tax, and mot not needed. This could be the bargain of the year, don't put money in the bank, buy a Moto Guzzi Le Mans, this will go up in value and put a smile on your face every time you ride it.It would be pick up from my home in Cheshire with cash on collection, It is for sale on other media so auction might end early.V5 is in my name, any questions just message through Ebay.
