For sale is my Vespa125 (registered) fitted with a 200engine.I purchased this scooter just over 2 years ago with a view to using it as a general run around and eventually using the 200 engine in my SS180 project.I previously wrongly listed it as a PX but the V5 lists it as a VNX5T that is a T5.It is 26 years old and most things including the engine have probably been changed/replaced anyway.I have since sourced a correct 180 engine for the SS so don't need the engine now.I have several other bikes so have decided to sell it on.Bad PointsThe photographs tend to flatter its appearance. The paintwork is poor and needs sorting. It appears to have had the floorboards replaced in the past. It has a side stand fitted probably due to expansion chamber clearance. The bodywork still seems sound and straight.The brakes are average but it passed the MOT ok with advisory for slight fluctuation on rear brake.The clutch can get a bit snatchy when hot. NO GUARANTEE on recorded mileage the speedo cable was broken when I got it. Its now working.Good pointsITS A 200! auto lube (non battery) fitted with a Simonini expansion chamber. It goes very well and sounds nice. PLEASE NO MORE TIMEWASTERS. Do not bid a high figure and then come up with a lame excuse to back out. Its a good old scooter that will do you well. I urgently need the space for other projects so have put a low buy it now figure on it. In my ownership it has been the go to bike. It has been totally reliable and always starts.It is MOT'd until October 2020 and everything works. It is currently still used occasionally.Please don't bid /turn up expecting a mint condition scooter it is not. It is an old Vespa that is on the road and has a good 200 engine in it.
