I bought this a couple of years ago for restoration but like many people time did not happen. I cleaned out the usual filter, new plug, oil and petrol and it started 3rd kick. It has good compression. The brakes work good. I rode it around my land and it changes gears fine. This was about a year ago. Since then, one side of the tank has developed a small leak so this needs addressing. I have photos of the parts I bought to complete the bike apart from what you can see, battery, clocks, indicators and a couple of relays. There is probably more, clips, springs etc or something like that. I think the engine will clean up fine. It is mainly dirt. Great little project for someone. Please call with any thoughts and I will do my best to answer. The seat isn’t attached but I have bought the brackets. Exhaust looks OK. Good headlamp and surround. Good S/panels (one new). The bike has age-related pitting on the top part of the fork legs and the rims have light pitting which you could probably make presentable with a scotch pad. The frame has a little rust but no rot. Forgot to mention the bike runs but only on choke. Sounds like a fuel problem. Good luck. Thanks Hi.
