I have owned the KTM, since Feb 2017 and has been great fun and trouble free. I have used it for some commuting and green laning, covering some sections of the trans European Trial in Wales. Having completely serviced (all fluids / filters / valve clearances etc. the bike during lock down, i feel my off road days are coming to an end and therefore after much sole searching, i have regrettably decided it is time to part with her :(... I bought the bike 3 1/2yrs ago from a gentleman in Dorset who had converted it from a supermoto spec to enduro. (receipts for parts present) The bike had an attempted theft during his ownership and had the ignition barrel damaged in a failed attempt to steal the bike, he replaced with an original KTM item (receipts present). As a result, the bike was recorded as Cat D. This has not caused me any issues during ownership in terms insurance or legal road use, mot / road tax.Its a 2004 model with the expected scratches and marks on various body panels that you would expect on a 16yr old Enduro bike, that said, she is in excellent mechanical condition and very presentable, always attracts attention and discussion when out and about.I have fitted her with Hepco Becker rear pannier rails. They give protection to the rear of the bike and serve to mount the home made adventure base plate forming the rear rack (pictured). This holds tyre repair kit / tubes / 2* fuel cells / tyre levers / wheel nut spanner and chain lube and acts as a base plate for a tail pack which i will include in the sale. Also included is a KTM tankbag (pictured, its old with broken securing clip but still works).Outside of my fulltime job, i "spanner" for a bike garage and as such all my bikes get looked after as they should.The bike has been FULLY serviced during May / June...... both oil filters, fully synthetic 10W50 oil, new air filter, new plug, fresh brake fluids, new mineral oil in the clutch, new Silkolene pro cool and orange silicon coolant and breather hoses fitted (very pretty!). New rear tyre (Maxis Enduro) fitted and matching front tyre isn't new, but has plenty of life left in it, New Afam orange chain and rear sprocket, running new 15t front sprocket (as per Adventure model), really makes it tractable off road. Suspension is excellent with previous fluid changes in WP front end and stripped and greased linkage rear shock with the shock set for my 90kg. The battery is only 12 months old and the charging system works fine (13.4v steady output).Valve service conducted with inlet and exhaust adjusted to 0.15mm, she starts and runs beautifully. Please don't contact me with swaps or asking my best price, the bike is on auction with no reserve beyond its starting bid and will run until the end.The bike is advertised elsewhere and i reserve the right to withdraw the bike from sale.The sale needs to be secured with £100 paypal deposit within 24hrs of winning the auction, with the outstanding balanced paid by cleared bank transfer or cash on collection within 7 days.
