NO RESERVE LISTING GILERA DNA 50CC This listing is for my Gilera DNA 50 in the condition pictured. This scooter was last used on the road in 2004 then was sold to a guy who just left it in a barn until I bought it from him 2 years ago, it was my intention to recomision and use it but I did exactly what the 2nd owner did and just put it away in a barn. It was running when I bought it but it is not running now. I have fitted a 70cc barrel and piston and have a new larger carb ready to fit onto it. the original carb is still fitted and the original barrel and piston are in the storage box. There was nothing wrong with the 50cc barrel and piston I just wanted to have the bike do 70mph. It is unrestricted and has larger variator rollers and a Technigas exhaust. I took the ECU into the house last year as I wanted to get a remapped (faster) one matched from the internet but have missplaced it so it needs a new ECU. Other than that its pretty much original, the only missing trim I know of is the cover from over the carb/airbox area and the only panel damage is on the front mudguard as shown in the picture. The paint has scuffs and some touch up paint but is perfectly presentable for its age. There LCD on the dash is cracked also shown in the pictures, the pillion footpegs are also in the storage box. The engine turns over with excellent compression, the tyres have held the same air for 2 years and the seat is damage free. 1 key, no battery, V5 in my name with just 2 former keepers. The brakes etc will need recommissioning before using on the road but the tyres are good and all lights work. This scooter is being sold as a non running project but is a great candidate for a valuable classic restoration. Collection from North Hertfordshire, SG9 0PY
