HONDA QR 50 Here iam selling my 1987 qr50 classic child motor cross bike.the bike has been in the family for around six years and the last 3 as been spent in the shed.during lockdown i decided to restore it to original factory condition the wasn't your average cosmetic restoration, i stripped the hole bike, every single nut ,bolt and washer was removed.during the restoration i completely stripped the engine ,fitted all new crank seals, main seals, kickstart seals little end bearings and a new piston kit, all new gaskets and built it back up. I stripped the frame, wheels, stand engine casings basically all the metal work and had it all painted in the correct colours I also had all the nuts ,bolts, washers and brackets re plated to the original finish.new seat covernew tyresi imported a period correct decal set from the usa, unfortunately the tank decals reacted i am having them redone the original plastics where wet sanded from 120- 3000 grit, and the refined with cotton wheel.( there is some death scratches that i just wasn't brave enough to get out ) to conclude this is a very stunning restoration and wouldn't look out of place on your wall or in your collectionits a very complete bike.
