Harley Davidson ChopperClassic 1973 1000cc Ironhead Running Project USA import on Florida papers This diamond in the rough is a fairy easy project. This chopper has some cool features. The 1973 ironhead engine has skulls on the push rod coversIt has Showa extended forks and an S&S carb worth a stinking fortune. The rear wheel has spiralled twisted spokes and the primary cover has a wooden cover (although when I first saw it I thought it was rust, but now I know it’s wood I find it pretty cool). It has a casket tank that looks disgusting and the headlights are fuggly Has a very nice billet front brake. Straight though pipes. I’ve been thinking about making it into a Easy Rider bike. A single headlight and peanut tank with the American flag and some soft bend chopper bars and it could be a full on Easy Rider Harley Chopper by summer no problem. What I love about this bike is that it’s the real deal. It’s not some modern attempt at retro. It’s a genuine 47 year old Harley Davidson chopper that has spent its days cruising the roads of the USA. It currently needs some fork seals, a throttle and registering to the U.K. Any other info then please send me a message. No reserve
