It is with deep regret that I list my beloved Bandit.. The bike has served me well the last year, but the time has come where I have finally completed my full A license, so I will be upgrading to a Street Triple shortly, so will no longer be needing the bike. It has done 57944 miles, and it can definitely do another 50,000 considering the condition of the engine. The Japanese engineering has proven bullet-proof as the engine casing was removed by the technicians in Parkroad Powerbikes and the tech was amazed at the condition of the shims, not expecting them to not need replacing at all over that many miles of riding. The dent in the fuel tank was not due to a mishap whilst I had the bike. The old tank had some surface rust which clogged the fuel pump. unfortunately the dented fuel tank was the only one I could find which was internally perfect condition. It is merely just a cosmetic flaw. The issue was an annoying one to diagnose, hence why the engine casing had to come off initially as they attempted to find why the bike was losing power. Needless to say, the bike's fuel pump and fuel tank have been replaced. The bike is running perfectly! - but you'll that for yourself when you test ride her. The bike has been overlooked by Parkroad Powerbikes in Southampton, where most of the servicing has been taken place. The bike was bought from my good friend who works as a Yamaha technician. He sold it as he upgraded to an MT10. The bike has been stored inside since I have owned it and regularly cleaned. There is some corrosion on some parts which is only natural on a bike of its age. It has an electrical adapter charging port, heated grips, engine protectors, FULL GIVI set containing top box and panniers ready for a comfortable winter commuter. The MOT runs out on the 9th October, however I am more than happy to run it through myself prior to the buyer picking her up. Any questions please ask, I'll do my best to answer asap. Cheers.
