Cash on collection only please. Low milage 9178 miles, very original ( apart from rear light ) This Yamaha XT225 Serow was manufactured in 1994 and imported to the UK in 1996. Matching engine and frame numbers. V5 in my name.The engine is very strong for its 225cc and is extremely quiet and the bike goes very well indeed, its light and versatile both on and off road. The motorcycle benefits from a new carburettor, new clutch plates, brake pads, cables and mirrors.The fork internals have been upgraded to progressive fork springs and DDC valves imported from USA at a cost of $349,This makes the front end much more responsive.( I have the receipts for the new owner, along with the original fork internals )There is also a number of new parts included ( not fitted ) new chain and sprocket set a new front disc , throttle cable, owners manual and the original passenger footrests. The Motorcycle has been thoroughly maintained in my ownership and comes with 3 keys. However the patina does in parts show its 26 years and I haven't done anything with the bodywork. (Decal sticker kits are still available)Great fun to ride whether its a winter bike, commuting or adventure riding.MOT until June 2021, currently Sorned.I have owned the XT for two years and it always starts on the button and has always been thoroughly reliable, I'm only selling it to fund a new project.
