I am selling my 1980 Husqvarna 390 Auto Enduro (AE) which is in very good original condition. I have owned this bike for 5 years and it has only been ridden twice - once for a photo shoot for Classic Dirt Bike magazine. It runs and rides as it should, the gearbox is smooth and change action is positive. Comes with 4 litres of special gearbox oil. The tank is in very good order, the original plastics are in very good order; seat cover may need replacing but the seat cushion itself is good. Original lights are present but the front headlamp glass is damaged. The wheels are in very good condition and don't appear to have had many tyre changes as the rims are not scratched with tyre change marks. The speedo reads 520 miles (23 of which I did at the photo shoot) and I would imagine this to be genuine although am not guaranteeing.I am only selling as the bike is surplus to requirements. It would be great as a restoration project or just to keep as it is - the rear shocks will need servicing as the damping action is soft but are working satisfactorily. Check my photos for condition of the bike and to see how original and unmolested it is. This is a great opportunity to purchase a rare vintage Enduro bike from the late 1970's / early 1980's, very hard to find in this original condition and would make a great addition to an offroad collection.
